A fuller picture of your patient. A more useful consultation.
Your patients bring their existing blood results, health history, supplements and medications into Hemexa and give you access to review them. When further testing is needed, your patient can order their tests through us, adding their results to the same record for your next consultation.
- Free patient accounts
- Existing results imported
- Access with patient permission
- One-off testing when needed

Start with the information your patient already has.
Previous blood tests can be part of the picture too. Patients can import supported pathology reports, add their health information and record what they're taking. That gives you more context to discuss together, whether their next test happens now or later.
Previous results, brought together.
Include supported blood results from other providers rather than starting again with every new test.
Context alongside the numbers.
See relevant patient-entered history, supplements and medications alongside their available results.
Access before the consultation.
With your patient's permission, review their available information directly in Hemexa and use a clear report to support the conversation.
Less back-and-forth between visits.
Many practitioners still hand patients a supplement list on paper or in email. Hemexa gives you one permissioned record to point them to, so what they take and what changed is easier to see before the next consultation.
One place to send patients.
Ask them to sign in with their email, complete their profile, and keep supplements and medications up to date in Hemexa instead of another attachment in the inbox.
Review the same record you discussed.
With their permission, see patient-entered context and available results in one view, or export a report for the consultation.
Recommendations in the record, coming soon.
We are building a way for you to note what you want them to take and which tests to consider, inside the same Hemexa record, so patients are not hunting through old emails.
How your patient gets set up.
- 1
Your patient signs up free.
They complete their profile, record their supplements and medications, and import supported existing blood results.
- 2
They add testing when needed.
Patients purchase supported one-off tests through Hemexa. Pathology requests remain subject to medical review and approval, with collection through the existing pathology network.
- 3
They give you access.
Your patient authorises access to their Hemexa record so you can review available results and context before the consultation, then discuss them together.
- 4
The record grows with them.
Patients update their information and add results over time, ready for future conversations.

Clear about medical review and follow-up.
In Hemexa's current testing service, Australian-registered GPs review and approve pathology requests. Returned results are checked automatically against published safety thresholds, with practitioner involvement when those thresholds are met. Not every result is individually reviewed by a doctor. Our published critical results policy explains when Hemexa contacts a patient and directs them to appropriate care. This process does not replace their GP or ongoing treatment.
This describes Hemexa-coordinated tests. It does not describe results a patient imported from another provider.

No. The pathway will offer free patient accounts and paid one-off testing.
What will tests cost?
Register for details on available tests and pricing as the offering opens.
Can I send my supplement protocol through Hemexa?
